Took the kids to glenbawn dam on Saturday, was the first time i have been there since December last year, the water level was very low, in fact the lowest i have ever seen it and i have been around this area for 20 odd years.

Photos show how low the water is, if you look closely you can see the old water mark, but don't be alarmed unlike lake st clair the boat ramp is still good, and there is still plenty of water to fish.

Now for the fishing part the kids and i tossed jackalls and spinnerbaits around the weedbeds and trees along the shoreline, but no success, i got one hit on my jackall tn60 but lossed it before i could see any colour of a fish. ah well it happens.

Glenbawn
Talked to some others who were coming back in boats said it is slow the fish are holding deep in holes in about 10-15 meters of water and they were tempting them with an assortment of softplastics.

Will keep you posted as i am hoping for some good weather this weekend and if so i will be going fishing again at glenbawn, hopefully this time i will catch some.the water level on the lower picture use to be up to the bottom branch of this tree and use to produce some good fish from underneath.
