Perfect for open cockpit boats and in-vehicle use, the unit has an outstanding 12.5cm (diagonal), 256-colour, enhanced TFT sunlight-readable display for wide-angle viewing, while its sharp 320x240 pixel resolution allows for excellent mapping definition.
GPS information is derived via a 12-parallel channel internal GPS+WAAS receiver – for fast satellite lock-ons, precise tracking, and position updates every second – with very accurate plotting via MMC Navionics and NauticPath™ charting. Up to 100 routes / 1000 waypoints / 1000 event markers and 100 saveable and retraceable plot trails with up to 10,000 points per trail provide superior navigation, using 40 map zoom ranges from 0.03-6400km.
Simple to operate, with easy-to-follow and remember menu functions, the IntelliMap® 502c iGPS also has internal back-up memory, which keeps preferred GPS settings and stored GPS data safe and accessible for years. The unit is fully sealed and waterproof, and comes with a full two-year warranty. RRP is $949.
