As of today, there are new requirements for spooled user names.

You are now allowed up to 30 characters in length (minimum 2) and underscores (_) as well as hyphens (-). This generally only is applicable to new users.

To ensure that our old users display properly, some have been altered. If yours was changed, you will still be able to log in using your old names (it auto adjusts your user name).

Only users with non alpha-numeric characters (like spaces, ampersands, exclamation points, etc) have been affected.

If your user name has been altered (you may notice _s instead of characters in your name), we are able to change your user name to something else.

Just post in this topic saying what name you would like and we are update to update it!

Hi, I just joined here today and thought I would check out the users list to see if I knew anyone else, I was wrapped to come across a dozen or so members that I do already know. I also noticed there are a stack of users who have used the names of medications as thier username such as Tramadol, Vicodin, Oxycontin amongst others. so Im wondering if they are real members or just joking around ?

Yeh hi Karren, good to have you aboard.

those users that use the medication names are probably "bots", not sure, but I know they were having trouble with them on another site I frequent. Quite a nuisance. I think they are some sort of program that joins as many sites as possible in the hope that someone will visit their site and buy something of them. By the sounds of thing online drug agencies.

Something like that anyway. Someone else may have a better explanation.

Hadn't worked it out as yet. I had thought it might have been someone playing silly buggers. They obviously have more time on their hands then me if it is.

No probs, you would think that with that much spare time on thier hands that they could do something more usefull, but each to thier own I spose.
