G'day iceman, good to see some more Bass fishermen among us. I fish for them in the Nepean also, generally in canoe below the weir (Penrith), but also Yaramundi. I also like to flick the odd fly around the Gross Vale - wading up the middle of the River. I haven't been able to get out half as much as I would like none of us here have. But we hope with the new year and a little less pressure with website deadlines we will get a few good January Bass. Looks like it might be a good season, the little bit of rain we had a few weeks back helped but a little more would be good. I'll be submitting a couple of reports about a few past trips (one only three weeks ago) in the next week. Do you have any pics of some recent trips? If so submit them in the "My Article" (top right - once logged in) - then click Begin "New Fishing Report" to show us you catch (put in a little about where they were catch etc) if you have any probs - let me know and I guide you through it, submitting stuff is pretty easy though - talk to you soon |

Whowdy all, I was reading the latest issue of Freshwater Fishing when this big ad jumped out at me saying “come on over & see all the beer, dancing girls & all the fishing a man could want” but I recon a gold card would do (bludging for freebies already). Jez, I have accidentally logged in as Fat Guts as well, the computer & I were confused managed to balls up my first go. Can you please delete this for me? Anyway will post some pics up soon, Browny.

G'day everyone. I saw your ad in Freshwater Fishing and thought I'd like to be a part of it all. I've only been fishing about six months and have become quite obsessed with it, I can't get enough! I look forward to getting some tips and help from the pro's out there. I'm mainly a freshwater fisherman going for trout in my local rivers using tassies and spinner blades. Cheers Dennis |

G'day, I'm another Bass addict but also enjoy Jack and Barra fishing.I do most of my fishing with bait casters and hard baits from a kayak which gives me access to some great water.Been a hectic time with christmas and all but I'll soon return to my regular trips out and home to trouble.(You know how it is)I hope to post a few articles on the fishing in my local area and hope others will do the same. Cheers Rick. hardb8. (Didn't change your post hardb8 just corrected a mistake preventing it from being displayed)

How rude of me, signed up a couple of nights ago and didn't introduced myself. As the name suggests, I am woman, and as the profile states, I reside in Mackay. Just recently returned from Awoonga, where I caught my first impoundment Barramundi, with many to follow over the 5 days I was on the Dam. One of my target fish this year is the Mangrove Jack. Also the thought of travelling south to catch a Bass has crossed my mind. Guess that’s enough for now, if you have any questions about me or Mackay, don’t hesitate to contact me. Trakka |

Hi all, I bumped in to this through FlyLife, I FlyFish for anything that swims fresh or salt. I hope to learn abit about lures etc for my young son, but that will probably be through lurking in the relevant section. I'm quite willing to help out with info in regards to Fly Fishing when a question pop's up. Good luck with the site. Regards, Andrew "Wet" |
