I am interested to know what the best lure you have ever used is? can be fresh or salt.... Also, what species it works the best for. For the record mine is the ONDEX in silver and red for REDFIN of course, but it works well for pike and chub too. |

Hi RP, I have been using ecogear SX40s mostly, these seem to be the best producers for bream I have found, although it could be a case of just having used these the most and are a it of a "Confidence" lure, am trying to ween myself off them and try a couple different ones....but its hard. Dont know about the best lure ever but my current favourite lure has been the Halco Laser Pro 120 deep 2.5m in pilchard. Has so far this season it has caught Yellowtail kingfish, Samson Fish, Tuna, Dolphin Fish and a heap of Salmon to 7kg. |

I personally dont have a favorite lure, as it obviously depends highly on what I am fishing for. I know we fish all over the country and therefore fish with very different gear. But I cant seem to go past Bass as a favourite to catch and therefore "Fizzers" and fizzer imitations I love more then anything else. I love the surface smack....... You also have to love any lure that comes with it's own propellor :) |

As my username would indicate I am a big fan of Ecogear SX40F's and Bassday Sugar Deeps for bream, I have also caught trout, Redfin, Carp, Yellowbelly, Flathead, Bass, Estuary Perch and many other species on them, when thay are that versitlie why would you need anything else. Best Regards Paul 'the anvil' Carter AKA ecofreak You know you are a fanatical Bream fisho when you have a 3" plastics hanging from your rear view mirror as an air freshener.
