Does anyone know when the next family fishing day is due to be held on the Nepean river, saw last years one on Dave Buttfields show, but can't remeber what time of year it was, any help would be appreciated.

Sat 28 "The 25th Fishfest", Penrith This event is held on the Nepean River today and tomorrow and is proudly presented by the Penrith Panthers Fishing Club, Freetime Silstar and Dave Butfield's Tackle World, St Marys. There are over $2,000 in prizes including a huge participation prize list just for being at the presentation with a $1,000 cash first prize. The species are Bass, Carp, Herring (freshwater) Catfish, Mullet (freshwater & bully) with all fish to be weighed in whole - we encourage Bass to be weighed in alive and returned to the river. Entry fees cost adults $10 and children 14 yrs and under $5. Registration and presentation is at the Nepean Rowing Club, with registration times on Saturday from 9am-7pm and Presentation time on Sunday 2pm. Fishing times are Saturday 12 noon til Sunday 11.45 am. Weigh in times are Saturday til 7pm, Sunday til 12 noon SHARP. No fish accepted after 12 noon on Sunday, if not in designated weigh-in area.
