Hi Guys Its been a while since i got out fishing so over the last week managed to get a couple of days on the water.

I went out in my boat on fri 14/8/09 chasing a few yellas and just seeing what was around the goulburn around shepparton very dirty at the minute so lure fishing was out just a few worms and yabbies and i was out to target some early season yellas.The wattle are all in bloom at the moment so i thought i might be in for a chance only manged 2 very small yellas in 5 hours of fishing but still worth it just to get out on the water. The next day i headed to mulwala to have a go at some big winter cod trawled around in 20m of water for the day managed 6 cod ranging from 42cm up to 87cm the most productive lure was a orange mowhawk lure in 80mm size all fish returned to catch next time

Anyone else been catching anything?
