the pink attack is the no 1 flathead lure

just troll it in shallow murky water eg mooney mooney creek

last went out in canoe about 3 weeks ago and caught about 14 on the pink attack lure

G'day wishnwasfishn

Do you use soft plastics for flatties at all? Up my way we absolutley brain them when there on. 30-40 in a session not unheard of.

yes yes i do use lots of sort plastics but onli in good weather otherwise the canoe blows all over the place so it is alot easier to just keep the motor on and a trolling speed with 4 rods off it

Yeah soft plastics are the go, up in bobbin head have get a heap of flatties on them, using the 3inch BMs

Hard bodies are handy in the wind, can just paddle and troll for em.
