most of my mates use back to back uni knots for connecting braid to a mono leader. I have been using an albright. not sure which one is better. hope you can help me out. cheers |

Personally I would prefer an albright over a uni to uni, most of the times in light line class I will use a 5 turn surgeons knot and then as the line class goes over ten lb I would use an inmproved albright in a bimini double, thats before I go out, then I bust off and end up tying a back to back uni anyway, only to laziness and not knot quality. Best Regards Paul 'the anvil' Carter AKA ecofreak You know you are a fanatical Bream fisho when you have a 3" plastics hanging from your rear view mirror as an air freshener.

For me FG/Mid knot is the way, do it properly and it never fail me once. Cast is smooth too. |

I always use back to back uni now. I can trust it and it's easy. The knot is a little large but i'm good enough at drawing them together now that i've minimised it as much as possible |

I do both the Uni to Uni Knot and the Albright Knot and not one knot has failed me yet! |
