I have been associated with the fishing industry in Bermagui for the past 25 years in both Charter Services and Fishing Tackle Retail. 18 years ago I was the first legal operator to start guided fishing tours in the estuaries surrounding Bermagui.

I was also the owner of Bermagui Ocean Hut Tackle Store for 20 years which I have now sold but are still doing the Guided Estuary Adventures and Offshore Charters. Growing up in this area I saw the potential in Brogo Dam as being a Bass Fishery.

Instigating the initial stages of forming what is now known as the Far South Coast Bass Stocking Association, as president I am proud to say this has been an extreme success with the fishery well established and producing good numbers of Bass on a regular basis for visiting anglers. Some 220,000 Bass Fry has been released into the Dam over the past several years which is funded by the Association in combination with DPI - Fisheries.

We specialize in GUIDED ESTUARY ADVENTURES in the lakes and rivers surrounding Bermagui plus fresh water fishing in Brogo Dam. The areas of operation are not restricted by Marine Parks and have relatively low fishing pressure applied to them. We cater for all ages and from the beginner to the advanced with a lot of family orientated tours in mind.

Our speciality is catching lots of fish and our methods include bait fishing through to advanced lure casting. Tuition is given, as you fish, in the form of being shown the arts of bait gathering, rigs, times of the tides, burleying techniques, types of lures and when and where to use them. The vessel we operate out of is a fully surveyed 4.5m sportsfishing punt, all the latest tackle is supplied plus transfers to and from the fishing locations. Offshore we have a fully surveyed 7.5m Eden Craft Cat in which we do Reef, Sport and Game Fishing Charters. We target the lower end of the market with affordable charters capable of supplying a service to both beginners and established anglers alike.

There is also Whale Watching and Dolphin Tours available and the areas we operate are not restricted by any Marine Parks. All tackle, bait and equipment is supplied with both full and half day trips available.
