Hi, My name is Rick and I've been fishing scince I can remember,Cutting my teeth pulling suicide nets full of sand crabs and hand line fishing for Whiting.Then graduating to Bream,Flathead and Tailor.Now the mojority of my time is spent on Australian Bass,Mangrove Jack and the odd Barra trip when I can.

95% of my fishing is done with hard bodied lures with the other 5% being live bait.The bait caster is my weapon of choice with a lot of my tackle coming from Japan.I'm a bit old school prefering the round type of reel as opposed to the low profile jobs.And like most fishos am a tackle enthusiest and lure collector,Causing a few nights on the couch.God bless her!I've also been recently introduced to the fly and will be persuing it in the future.

The majority of my trips are based from home (Redcliffe) up to the Sunshine Coast fishing all the creeks and impoundments within this area.And after a recent taste of the Barra on offer there will definitly be a few missions to Monduran,Callide and Awoonga on the cards in the future.
