Micah Adams lives on the far south coast of NSW in Merimbula, surrounded by countless first class estuary systems, beaches and offshore fishing. Micah spends at least half of his year traveling both Australia and the globe to fly fish the world’s premier fishing destinations. He has fly fished in nine different countries for everything from billfish to trout, bonefish to bream and is one of Australia’s most prominent fishing writers for six different magazines.

Micah has released over twenty billfish on a fly rod in the one days fishing (the second highest of anyone in the world) and is only the second Australia to get a grand slam on the fly- a permit, tarpon and bonefish in the one day! He has guided for barra, bream, bass and estuary perch for nine years and whilst his passion is fly fishing for any species, he has also been at the forefront of the estuary soft plastic fishery especially on bream, estuary perch, kingfish, salmon and barramundi.

Micah is a full time fishing journalist, author, media instructor and saltwater fly fishing guide and he is also employed by several tackle companies to both promote new tackle and design and test product. He also works for several fishing travel and adventure companies investigating new fisheries and reporting on these along with established locations for several journals.
